# Get a command

> Whether a command ran, and what the game said.

**id** `string` *required*

**status** `string`

`queued`, `succeeded`, `failed` or `expired`.

**message** `string | null`

What the game said, like `Kicked Darkbot99.` or why it refused.

**key** `string`

Name of the key that sent it.

**createdAt** `integer`

**completedAt** `integer | null`

Most commands finish within a second or two. Poll every second for up to 15 seconds, or listen for the `api.command` webhook. Results are kept for 7 days.
