# Get a player

> One player in the server, by user id or username.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Live data. Answers `503 server_offline` while nobody is in the server.

**player** `string` *required*

A user id (like `1458291`) or a username (not case sensitive).

Returns the same object as one entry of [List players](https://apidocs.eraus.gg/api/players.md), or `404 not_found` when they aren't in the server.
