# Check a key

> The key's name, scopes and server. Use it for a "test connection" button.

**key** `object`

**properties**

**id** `string`

Like `key_6lifpydmlj`. Not secret.

**name** `string`

The name the owner gave it.

**scopes** `string[]`

`read`, plus `commands` if it can run commands.

**createdAt** `integer`

Unix seconds.

**server** `object`

**properties**

**id** `string`

The server id (also in the key).

**name** `string | null`

The server's name, once it has been online.

**online** `boolean`
